Thomas Lyon is a veteran strategist and crisis response advisor with over two decades of experience in high-stakes leadership, communications, and operational management.
As the founder of Lyman Ziegler Cregg, Thomas works directly with clients navigating reputation-defining moments—guiding executives, public figures, boards, and institutions through crisis, scrutiny, and uncertainty.
His approach is unapologetically hands-on, blending tactical clarity with narrative control. Every engagement begins and ends with Thomas—there are no layers of bureaucracy, no outsourced junior staff, and no guesswork. Just deliberate, decisive, confidential guidance.
Prior to launching LZC, Thomas held senior leadership roles in public safety operations, hospitality administration, public relations consulting, marketing, and brand management. He has overseen teams across industries under intense operational, public, and regulatory pressure. He is the founder of multiple businesses—including Lyon Global, a consulting firm known for systems thinking, marketing infrastructure, and AI-driven business support. He also developed ROAR, an automation platform powering small business growth and communications.
Thomas's signature strength is pattern recognition: quickly identifying unseen risks, interpersonal dynamics, and opportunities to shift the narrative in favor of his clients. He has advised leaders facing allegations, boardroom shakeups, media attacks, public failures, family scandals, and legal complications (including his own)—often behind the scenes and always under strict confidentiality.
Thomas is a former Eagle Scout and a graduate of the Walt Disney World College Program. He brings both executive rigor and human intuition to every case. His ability to earn trust fast—then deliver when it matters most—is why LZC exists.
He lives in upstate New York with his wife, Claire. In his downtime, Thomas enjoys travel, concerts, strategic TV (ask him about The West Wing), and designing systems that make life more predictable—even when nothing else is.
